How many times have you been told that you can’t live this Christian life alone? If you’ve been around Chi Alpha very long at all, I am sure it’s still ringing in your ears. But trust me, it is so true. There is a quote I like by John Ortberg that reads, “Just as we must pursue the stillness of solitude, we must seek the fellowship and accountability of community if we want to fully experience and express spiritual life.”
Although, getting alone with God is wonderful to do, having an amazing personal relationship with him, it is also crucially important to have other people of the same mindset to share life with.
And you have an opportunity coming up where you can do just that. It’s a weekend retreat called “Altitude!” I mean, really, what beats dropping our hectic lives for a few days, hanging out with friends, seeking God together, worshiping and so much more! I went on this same retreat last year, and I promise you that after this you will never be the same! Trust me, you do not want to miss out on an opportunity this big!
