Jesus in the Room, by Kaylee Kidwell

Recently I have become obsessed with this new music group. Well, they are not new, but they are new to me. They are called Jesus Culture, and I’ve been listening to their music over and over again over the past couple of weeks. Incredible stuff, let me tell ya!

In one of there songs there is a line in that plays over and over in my head:

“I don’t wanna talk about You
like You’re not in the room
I wanna look right at You
I wanna sing right to You”

After the first time I heard these lyrics, it hit me: I want to sing, talk, and just flat out live my life like Jesus is in the room with me. Because he is. I want him to be a part of every aspect of my life. During worship, prayer, my devotional time, or just whenever, God is with me and I want to treat his presence that way. We don’t have to  worship and sing to some far away God, but instead we can look, pray, sing, and talk directly to Him. Because he is a personable God. How amazing is that?

How differently would you pursue Him, if you saw him in up close and personally? Perhaps you’d be more passionate?
How different would your relationship with him be? I think it could be the start to something absolutely incredible.
